The Plexus series deals with the human mind and perception. I wanted this series to be architectonic, with non-representational subject matter that utilizes interconnected arrangement of parts. I created patterns and shapes that have a clearly defined structure that plays on the geometry of the rectangle or square. I then chose a pleasant color palette that is rotated 5 times throughout each pattern. Though they work well on their own, these create interesting interaction

of color and shape between them when more than one is displayed in the same area.
